What is the Leadership Development Program (Corporate)?
The Leadership Development Program (Corporate) is a unique hands-on training program created by Las Vegas Sands Corp. to recruit, inspire, and develop managerial candidates for its ever-growing family of global resort destinations. This extraordinary opportunity gives associates the chance to learn the exciting and lucrative resort-hotel-casino business from the inside out, through job shadowing corporate vice presidents and directors, rotating through specific departments to gain real-world experience, and managing various projects from concept to completion.
As a part of the program, associates will formulate and follow a customized training plan based on the individuals’ career goals. Upon completion of the program, associates are evaluated for placement in management positions throughout the Las Vegas Sands Corp. family of properties, with locales that include Las Vegas, China, Singapore, and others.

What are the duties of a Leadership Development Program associate?
The duties of the Leadership Development Program associate vary by individual and by progress in the program. An associate can take on various roles in the organization; one week could be dedicated to learning the ins and outs of resort planning and construction while the following week could involve public relations, and the next casino marketing. Throughout the program associates will work on various projects directly related to operating and promoting a mega-resort property. The purpose of the program is to give managerial candidates a breadth of experience that will allow them to become more effective, more confident and more capable executives in the future.
For how long will I be an associate in the Leadership Development Program?
The program is 12 months and will provide the associate with an overview of the various areas of Las Vegas Sands Corporation. The program takes place at The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino and The Palazzo Resort-Hotel-Casino, both in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Who is eligible for the Leadership Development Program?
The following is required to be a part of the Leadership Development Program:
- Must possess at least a graduate-level degree
- Passion for the hospitality industry
- Outstanding analytical and communications skills
- Willingness to relocate after successful completion of this program
- Demonstrated leadership potential
- Must be available to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
